Fluxx
Fluxx is a card game where the rules and victory conditions change throughout the game. Whilst this can be confusing to people who don't realise that the game is chaotic, it is a lot of fun when you 'get it'.

At the start of each game the cards are shuffled and 7 are dealt to each player. There are only two rules at the start: Draw 1, Play 1. At this time there is no victory condition, but many of the cards will add actions, rules and provide for changing victory conditions. Aside from rules, actions and goals, there are also cards called 'Keepers' (good!) and 'Creepers' (bad... well mostly).
Some examples might include:
- Your hand limit is now 3 cards (meaning by the end of your turn, you can't have more than 3 cards in your hand)
- New Goal: If you have the Toaster and Bread, you win (meaning the player with these can instantly win the game)
- Draw 3 cards, play 2 of them (meaning you pick up 3 new cards, and you have to play 2 of them before the end of your turn)
For some people this is very confusing initially, but after a game or two it gets a lot easier and faster.
Another neat thing about Fluxx is the number of different packs they have available - which add a lot of amusement and keeps the games pretty fresh. Some of these include Family Fluxx (nice and friendly theme), Monty Python Fluxx (bonkers British humour) and Zombie Fluxx (Zombies have a big following amongst social gamers for some reason...).
